ohhh Karen - 2 good choices! I love them both - TCY because its a good historical, SB because its the start of one of my favorite UF's (and the series is done, which is always a bonus!)

That's good to hear - especially since I have them both on hand. :)

Any Kleypas is usually a hit with me. And I've heard good things about the Succubus series. I've read the Dark Swan series and I found it very hit or miss but I've heard this one is better.

i've only listened to the first in the dark swan series, and i'm going to continue the rest, but when i get a chance...its not a must read...but georgina did piss me off in the first book in the succubus series

I loved the Xenogenesis series! If you liked this one, then you would probably enjoy the rest of the trilogy too. Highly recommend.

But I don't think the ladder goes to square 96. It looks to me like the one from square 52 goes to square 94. It's still a huge leap, and ties you with Vi for the lead.

I was taking that from the list of squares and not from the gameboard, when I try to download the gameboard I don't get all the squares. On the list of squares it says at 52 Climb Up the Ladder to square 96, as Ive just rolled a two I'll go back and read a book from square 94 and that'll be me back on the right track.

I see what you mean. It seems the listing in the Gameboard thread is different from the one on the spreadsheet, for that square at least. It could just be a typo in the list.

What you suggested for where you are makes sense to me.

But I also think we'll need a ruling from Kazza, so any of us who land on 52 in the future can be consistent. So far, it's been Dionysia, Vi, Amanda, and now you, all taking the ladder to square 94.

Finally started my book for the e-books shelf so I'm ready to roll!

Wow! The first 1 I get and it lands me on a ladder. I think rolling at my home computer has been giving me luck (yes, I'm superstitious).

I haven't been using the gameboard but the list of squares like Karen. However, everybody else who landed on the 52 has gone to 94 so I'll stay there unless Kazza says otherwise.

Oh my word, what a mistake! I've fixed the list although I have to say the mistake was probably because I had to move the picture of the ladder around to fit things into! :p I sincerely apologise for all the confusion.
