This book is complicated enough without one- I don't want to read the second book and find that she falls in love with Jake or I'll probably scream. I love Xavier. He's in my major fangirling book.

He basically almost tricks Beth into having sex with him! He's a demon by the way! He takes Beth, the angel, to Hell and you would think he's a love interest. Sure in some of the first okay, but if read the rest you'll know what I mean.

Yea so jake is hot and a bad boy. But he is a totally creepo pervert. Xavier is kind of too good ya know? Xavier needs to loosen up a little. So I would pick Xavier to know I'm gonna be safe and also jake could be a choice because it's nice to loosen up and be bad :)

To be honest, I find Xavier a very boring character. I think that Jake has more depth, especially in the second book. So I have to say that Jake is my personal favourite :)

I think it's good to loosen up and have fun but if your going to have fun with a guy that's going to drag you all the way to hell that's not fun that's just being stupid. Jake was the type to drag you to tell just cause he knows he can as for Xavier his not that type and I rather have him them a man from hell, I know I don't want to be torture by a guy like Jake. But to know I'm going to be safe and taking carful is better then undering when I'm going to DIY at the stack and be set on fire cause Jake dragged me to Hell. So Yes I Pick Xavier over the Man from Hell.

Hello? Incase you haven't noticed Beth is an angel. Xavier is perfect for her, he's sweet and charming and Beth obviously loves him. Jake is evil. And a total creeper. He kidnapped her and dragged her to hell, tricked her into almost sleeping with him and you guys think he's a hottie?

I think people pick Jake because he's an interesting character and makes the story a lot better. I don't think they'd actually want to be with him. Or maybe they haven't read the second book yet, or something. You gotta admit that when Jake comes up, you get just a little bit excited for what's about to happen. He's one of the best evil/bad characters I've read, personally.

But of course Xavier would be the rational thought, for Bethany and any other girl.
