Sheila, woohoo! Off to a good start w/ your new authors!The Thorn Birds has me bogged down. McCoullough writes so beautifully, but her endless descriptions are affecting my reading speed. I'm finding myself zoning out and repeating entire pages, but I'm still loving the book.
I discovered her mysteries last season. They are really good as well.
