Steph | 9 comments THIS IS VERY USEFUL: . It's a very bare bones scene outline of J R - perfect for reference when you know you have to reread the scene you're currently reading. I found it when I got confused by the retarded boy on page 19. Please don't kick me out of the club for my weakness.

The link to the same site that Kristen posted above yours is a little more useful, as it explains many of the references as well as having the outline (you can also click on the character list from there). It's also helpful for figuring out the equivalent page numbers if you're reading on an e-reader.

Kristin | 13 comments My link above was meant to say "annotations". I shudder to think would "adaptations" might be out there. :)

Anyone know of other blogs regularly posting JR updates?

message 8: by Kristin (new)

Kristin | 13 comments Interesting article about modern novelists' attempts to write across class lines.

Does not mentioned Gaddis.

Coincidentally, I just read that article today. The same Bookforum issue has a tribute to "J R," written in the style of the novel.

message 10: by Kristin (new)

Kristin | 13 comments Ah, I missed that. Apparently you need to subscribe to gain access to the JR article
