Aidyn you read the topic. what if harry potter, the hunger games and twilight were all put together in one super-series/movies?

would it get a lot of publicity?
would you read/watch it?
what would it be called?

message 2: by [deleted user] (new)

*bangs head against wall* No. Do. Not. Do. It. Please. I would not read it.

message 3: by Kristin (new) - added it

Kristin I think it would be way to much in one series. I think it might get a lot of publicity but I wouldn't think of reading it. (It dont help I HATE twilight)
It would be called...

Lucy I wouldn't read or watch it. There would be too much going on.
And I hate Twilight. Would never read something that had anything to do with Twilight.

Bailey that would be cool if you could find a way to fit that all together, like during harry's school years voldemort takes over and wins but harry survives then voldemort starts the hunger games and harry is thrown in there with peeta and katniss and then after they all win they meet edward who went to harry's school who turns out to be a sparkaling vampire! it fits! we could call it the harry potter in the hunger games at twilight! jk that sounds like a really long book and a really big mess.:) it would get alot of publicity until every one realizes its an awful book, i would read it though, just to laugh. :)

That actually could work!

Bailey dibs!! jk i don't have the time to write a book, trying to but just dont have the time. :)

Lucy I don't know...it sounds like something I would read, if only to make fun of it...if it didn't have Edward Cullen in it.
But it would be a huge book and extremely confusing to follow.

Andrea Cefalo Anna Faris would star in it and it would be a spoof of popluar young adult novels.
Written by Andrea Cefalo, Author of The Fairytale Keeper series

LOL. Me neither.

Django Umbridge would try to kill any vampires because she hates half-breeds, and Cornelius Fudge would be second to President Snow.

message 12: by Marie (new) - added it

Marie I read the summary for Divergent and thought it was very close to this idea. The world's divided into the Houses of Gryffindor (smart, brave, etc), teenagers are forced to join (Hunger Games), and the young female main character has a relationship with an older man (Twilight).

Steve Barnes & Noble bookstores and Warner Bros. Film Productions would not fear bankruptcy for at least another two decades.

PostCardashian Kim It would be PERFECT.
romance
mystery and magic
adventuire

Amber Django wrote: "Umbridge would try to kill any vampires because she hates half-breeds, and Cornelius Fudge would be second to President Snow."

Comparing Fudge to Snow? They were both highly unlikable characters, but at least Fudge had his moments. Snow was more one-dimensional and brutal. Fudge was a coward and in denial that Voldemort had returned. Their motivations were extremely different, and Fudge was far from evil.

Their only real similarity was that both protagonists disliked the leaders.

Tania EWWWWWWW NO NO NO NO NO... THTS A TERRIBLE IDEA .

Anthony Hudson Honestly, that wouldn't be good at all.

message 18: by Amanda (new) - added it

Amanda I would NOT spend my money or time on that. Harry Potter was great, Hunger Games was decent, Twilight is an embarrassment.

message 19: by [deleted user] (new)

What a horrible thought. They're way too different from each other, so that would NOT be good.

Tania Amanda wrote: "I would NOT spend my money or time on that. Harry Potter was great, Hunger Games was decent, Twilight is an embarrassment."

agree with u love the wording u have used thx

Micaela The Hungar Games is Si-fi so that could not combine with Harry Potter and Twilight. Twilight is a book written just to sell to teenage girls who are obsessed with boys. So there is no way they could go together cuz Harry Potter is not Science Fiction nor is it meant for teenage girls who are obsessed with boys.

Sparrowlicious I wouldn't read it. As simple as that.
Because Twilight sucked. No offense, but it really sucked. /: Meyer can't write, end of story. Even my little toe writes better than her.
Everything that's good about Harry Potter and Hunger Games would suffer from the suckery (is that even a word?) of the Twilight books.
Cheers!

Weiting I do not know. Interesting mix, the revolution and rebellion of THG, The romance of Twilight
(sucks) and the magic of harry potter.
Well the one that writes this better be a genius.
If it is I would try.

Ashley-Anne if they were all put together harry would win the hunger games and voldy would kill edward, like he did in book four lol

Emilee Seriously? The series would be HORRIBLE. I hate twilight, first of all. Harry Potter and Hunger Games are too awesome to be tied in with, ugh, twilight. I........no. I don't agree.

message 26: by [deleted user] (new)

It would be bad. Just bad as a movie or a book. They're all too different and... Why would you even ask this? You know everyone is going to totally just flip and say obviously not. And then there all the people who are dead set against Twilight. And then the Harry Potter movies (and books)were better than the Hunger Games (don't get me wrong, I love the Hunger Games, but Harry Potter is better), which was better than Twilight.

It. Wouldn't. Work.

message 27: by Yona (new) - rated it 5 stars

Yona What would that even look like?? Sounds like a literary omlet. (And that's not a good thing.)I'm sure it would get publicity if it were advertised that way...but most of it would be negative publicity.

message 28: by Lara (new) - rated it 4 stars

Lara It would be too much story in that book , I think.

Audrey Klosterman what exactly do you mean put them together?!

message 30: by Christina (new) - added it

Christina I wouldn't pick up the book or watch the movie. I'm not a big fan of Twilight, so I don't want it anywhere near the Harry Potter series, which I love.

Ethan that would not be a good book because they are from such completely seperate universes.

Marisol i rather watch athe movie then read the book because the book has something diffrent and the movie has something diffrent i just dont get it if the are going to do a book and then do the moveie do it the same

Matilda Rose Ew.

message 34: by Micaela (last edited Jul 09, 2012 06:56AM) (new) - rated it 3 stars

Micaela Thinking about it I wonder if the person who started the discussion just ment a story with vampires that sparkle wizards and they are in the arena fighting for entertainment and maybe some other random kids who are just mortals

Barbara I think it would ruin HP. HP is complex in its own right.

Barbara Christina Mugiwara Inductee Russ wrote: "I wouldn't pick up the book or watch the movie. I'm not a big fan of Twilight, so I don't want it anywhere near the Harry Potter series, which I love."

agree completely.

Isabel I would not read it, and I would write to J.K.Rowling suggesting she does something to get it forbiden.

Raechella errr... that would be the worst book ever.

Megan I picture this: vampires wielding wands who are pitted against each other to fight to the death, including a love triangle to make it interesting! Oooh!

xD

Susan I think my brain exploded at the idea.

Mansi Agarwal Harry Potter is just TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO AWESOME to be mixed with something like twilight!!!!!!!!!!! thats a VERY.VERY.VERY.VERY.VERY.VERY.VERY.VERY.VERY.BAD.IDEA!!!

Stephanie Bolen Sparkly vampires being beheaded in a head to head games run by wizards. I think that's an awesome concept.

Ellie Huxter It would be the weirdest thing ever. I love all three series but please, no. My brain would explode from it not making sense.

Julia, dude call me JJ there's a video. of the hunger games of harry potter, percy jackson, luke skywalkers and more. but not twlight mwhahahahahaha

message 47: by [deleted user] (new)

it would be an epic fail, except for Harry Potter, he stands alone (with Ron and Hermione of course)!!

Julia, dude call me JJ yup, at the twlight would be dead before the games even start! they be like ohhhh a person to bite, they step off their plate and die! it would be so funny !

message 49: by ѕтαяк (last edited Oct 07, 2012 09:55PM) (new) - rated it 5 stars

ѕтαяк voldemort would sparkle, and that is all that needs to happen to ruin the entire series.
