Living with a SEAL by Jesse Itzler

Tim’s first review of the year

it was amazing
This is at once a humorous and motivational book about what someone can achieve. It shows that what really limits us is our minds, not our bodies. We take way too much for granted and spend way too much time worrying about what others think about us. Seal, although he took things to the extreme showed that most of the time, our limits are self imposed. I hope to keep that in mind more often during the rest of my life. Roger that!

Eat That Frog! by Tracy Brian

Tim’s last review of the year

really liked it
Eat that Frog was a concise book, with quick tips to help people get more things done. That said, nothing in here was revolutionary. Also the focus on emails seems dated. While people still use email, there are a lot more and persistent distractions out there, none of which are mentioned. The book is well written and easy to follow, although the summations were not needed at the end of each chapter since the chapters were just a few pages long.
