I was looking for more shenanigans. This whole universe Ruby Dixon has created feels like there's so much to discover just so much potential that remains untapped.

Also, the repetition in the writing style is... challenging as a reader.

Cute but ultimately not satisfying enough. If it’s romance or a romcom or women’s lit, I want a bit of Dhar-Mann-style justice extravaganza for the shitty characters.
