i literally do not know how to feel about this book, it honestly felt like a fever dream, especially at the end like what. the first one hundred pages weren't the best and took me actual hours to get into but after that i was HOOKED. there were so many little twists and turns that even made me question rachel and the plot twist(s) had me screaming.

some people love her and others dont. i hated her so much (at least at the beginning i did) tell me why she was so unlikeable and her attitude i swear she needed some humbling. what confused me the most is the way no one called her out on her behaviour especially towards rachel, she was so mean and cruel to her from the very start like give her a damn chance. aside from that, her (slight) character development near the end revealed a softer side that made her a little more tolerable and by the end her snarkiness and overall personality grew on me.

literally such a cutie patootie, theres not one thing to hate about him. ITS THE WAY HE WOULDVE DELETED THE FOOTAGE IF BEL ONLY JUST ASKED. thats literally it please protect this man at all costs.

she gaslighted, gatekeeped, girlbossed her way all throughout the book and i loved her for it. her revenge at the end was so satisfying and she did deserve that happy ending after all that she she鈥檇 been through. also, i just want to have a moment to talk about her character in general as i think she was written very complex since at the beginning she was really reserved and looked as if she knew nothing about the world to the end where her whole personality switches instantly to a fierce and strong person. i find her character so powerful and shes such an icon.

yikes. im sorry the ending is one of the main thing that just ruined the book for me. i just found it so unrealistic and weird. you cant tell me carter didnt feel ANY attachment towards sherry. i get that she wasnt her birth mum but you still picked rachel over her? poor sherry didnt even have a choice to leave or stay. however, the plot twists before the ending had me gagged. i was literally staying up all night in shock. for me personally the twists with patrick price and carter had me screaming and i didnt expect it at all. ...more
