Well that was brilliant!
Firstly, it was not at all what I thought it would be. Williams looks at the “passions� (desires) that we experience and how they can derail us if we don’t steward them responsibly. Brilliant
I’m usually quite suspicious of “how to� books when the topic is on something that requires inspiration and creating.
Sure there are tips and tricks that can aid in mechanical processes but is that enough to aid in creating art?
Well this book has calmed my suspicions!
It’s whimsical and encouraging, and gives the reader permission to create (which I didn’t realise I needed to receive haha). The practical exercises are wise and make sense ...more
