Still Born by Guadalupe Nettel

Carrie’s first review of the year

really liked it
This story about female autonomy over choices about their bodies, and how those values can be fluid, was a page turner for me. Not to mention how I loved the vibrant setting of Mexico City!

I loved this quiet little Christmas story. I found this story of a father’s choice compelling and full of humanity.
