really liked it
A useful and quite beautiful book about the external and internal journey of a child who moves from being praised for being a 'big girl' to being shamed for being 'too big'. I appreciated that this covered both both body shaming/anti-fat bias and the negative attention big kids receive as a result of the adult status their size allows.
