What the hell have I just listened to, so many things made no sense, there was nothing scary or mysterious about the story and I certainly didn't come to a horror book to read about someone's perfect white teeth or flawless skin.

I have thoroughly enjoyed and nerded over the writing and the world building, but I have absolutely loved some of the tidbits the movie added and was missing them here. The skyship scene felt a bit flat, as did the ending, that's why one star down.
