The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by Victoria E. Schwab

Ali’s first review of the year

really liked it
I was loving this book and knew I’d give it 5 stars! I couldn’t put it down. Then somewhere in the middle it started dragging, and thought daaaang, I’m going to have to remove a star or two. Still, an interesting concept and an easy audiobook for my commute. I’d say 3.75 so rounding up to 4.

If you like audiobooks, the narrator Julia Whelan does a wonderful job! Beautiful!

4.5 stars.

Officially the last book I read (and finished) by the end of 2024.

Ms Dana: you made it! You survived homelessness, poverty, hunger, loss, and addiction, while having been “raised by mentally unstable parents, surrounded by drugs and thugs, often on the move, with little (if any) stability. Sweet Jesus, alright!

You’ve emerged from the battlefield. You’ve remained both graceful and thankful for your journey. You are proud to be you
