it was amazing
This story sucked me into its world from page 1!

Ruby McTavish, the sole heiress to her father's estate, was the victim of a notorious kidnapping as a child and has since grown into a widow 4 times over. In her 40's, she adopts a child and raises him to be the sole heir of her fortune, basically thumbing her nose at the rest of the family. Her plan doesn't work out as she desired when her adopted son, Cam wants nothing to do with his inheritance.
