The tension is rising and falling like waves reaching the beach. All in all it is still interesting.

A Golden Age Mystery. I like Annie Haynes' style a lot. The story is not the ordinary murder mystery plot and the main character is a doctor. Not sure when it takes place as no year is mentioned. I assume it is set before WW I.

Nothing for people who expect high octane action. This is character driven and I like a lot so far.

To read an omnibus is counterproductive for a reading challenge. Therefore I will add the single books to the statistics but in fact I will read the omnibus.

This omnibus contains three books. I'm reading the first story and I like it so far. Inspector Robert Colbert is an intelligent man.

Surprisingly good. The work of an ambassador combined with alien nations culture clash and a murder mystery is fascinating for me. Action is not always needed.
