Every time I start a new author, not knowing what to expect in the back of my head I wonder, could this be a favorite book of all time, and usually if you were to graph the likelihood of that happening, by like page 5 it hits 0%. I know it will not be a 10/10. Even if I really like the start. Too high a bar.
