Wow� just, amazing.

On page 3 and already read about two 14 year old kids (both girls) having secret sex with each other.

Been avoiding modern books for a minute but gonna go ahead and give this one a go..

How odd, I just realized this GR book has it shown as 671 pages, where as my copy is printed in extremely small fine print and is only 217 pages.

If TikTok promotes and raves about a book, it’s not a good book.

Such a shame to see well written writing and it’s talented writer wither away into the abyss of political correctness and modern day social politics. Quite a long, distant era if we look at writers like Tolstoy who wrote not for 1st world social justice, but rather because “…writing is not art, rather a form of teaching and making the world more moralistic.�

Life’s got me tied down and away from books.. but slowly I’ve been coming back.. I’ve read a little of this book and that, but my goal is to final sit and read once more. Here’s to my goal! No book is better for this comeback than one by Dostoyevsky.

I will keep this politic free, however, I know I have been MIA from reading, it’s tax season and I’m swamped.

But as a connoisseur of history especially with USSR, I want to say how upsetting it is to see Ukraine still harassed by Russia. I hope for better days.

Work and school has this girl far, far away from any time to read. 😣 Hoping to have free time next week to jump back onto the world of books.

Stopped reading “a little life� and reviewed it. Let’s just say, if the book is hyped on apps like Tiktok, I will not enjoy it.

Hm. Is it realistic to have so many *gay* people around you? Why does Hanya insist on making every single character gay? As an LGBTQ supporter myself, I find Hanyas writing of gays unrealistic and a way to further fit in with “the woke� crowd. Pretty annoying so far. Books are meant to story tell, not show the world how woke you can be.

Nothing too sad yet, but getting to slightly “woke� parts, but it isn’t *too* bad yet. Focused a lot on blackness; which is okay! But the execution is coming off as forced and guilty, as if the writer is trying to appeal to minorities and let the world know she’s woke.. but, it’s entertaining. Writing style is almost perfect to me. Will be jumping back to this guy occasionally.
