OOF! This one is heavy on detailed documentation, but it's necessary for creating a picture of all the ins and outs that make a complex stew of media, propaganda, and politics. Often, I must stop and think about what I just read. Propaganda is a strange critter; sure, there's deliberate attempts at manipulation and disinformation, but if I understand this correctly, it often has unforseen results and circumstances.

😃 So far, this book is irritating me a lot.

It's not a bad book, but I did not finish it because I have a big pile of books that I want get through, so I couldn't focus on this one.

Just a note: I picked up on this vibe in the book about Navarre being an analogy for globalization, and I kept finding little things to support it. Violet's homeland of Navarre is the largest on the continent, and it's the result of Nations being absorbed through "unification".

This turned out to be interesting!
