this is literally Firefly in book form and it makes me SO happy, that's one of my fave shows

So Elias and Helene's relationship is the only decent relationship in this book and yet they DON'T end up together? I call bullshit

you know every once in a while I think “hey this book is improving!!� and then Elias makes yet another comment about how Helene is a girl and therefore more romantic than the guys. fuck off Helene is 1) not much more romantic than the rest of these annoying teenage boys 2) surrounded by fuckboys without any romantic sense whatsoever. also this love triangle needs to End

idk it's... fine but the characters are so much flatter than they should be. Rhee has so much potential for an arc and it's just. not. happening. I'm still reading to the end bc I've heard thing about the last page

I know I said I wasn't going to keep reading Hopkins after Perfect. But listen I still really loved Tricks and this looked so good and I do really love her writing so. one last chance? it's great so far
