Now, I'm working on a book written by Kathleen Pelley, but my other book I'm working on was an event that happened in our own garden many years ago. It was so funny! I knew I wanted to make it a book one day.

Real answer? I get ideas in the shower, while driving, at work, anywhere! I write them down on my phone's notepad or a colorful notebook at home...and keep them all safely for when I have time to focus on them. The idea for my Oliver story started over 15 years ago! Lord willing, it will be a book one day.

A book called Happy Mamas, written by Kathleen Pelley, and published by the same folks who made the first Kissing Hand books! It's nice to be back working with them :) There are a LOT of different animals and people (a hard thing for me!), and it will be a beautiful and poetic bedtime read! Because Kathleen is Irish - and she writes like that.

Writer's block is the same as 'artist's' block, I'm sure. That's a tough one! Mostly, I take a break - chocolate, coffee, look at picture books, walk the dog, exercise, play Sidoku on my phone (few minutes only!), or zen-doodle inky designs.
