Be Determined...Even When You Don't Feel Like It!
The statement in this pictureis so true...at least in my life! I've noticed in my own life that if I'm not disciplined in the area of my exercise/nutrition, I am not disciplined in the other areas that need to be managed (work, goals, finances, housework, etc). It's like my discipline mindset is either on or off...there's not happy medium with me, and that's frustrating. My husband says I'm driven...and I agree with him...but I'm driven so that I don't fall into complacency. I am on a mission in

Determination is the Word for the Week!!!
The Word for the Week is, DETERMINATION! It is defined as the act of deciding definitely and firmly; fixed intention to achieve a desired end; a quality that makes you continue trying to do or achieve something that is difficult; simply not giving up. In order to see success in our weight loss journey, we have to be DETERMINED to do it. We must determine in our minds that we are going to do this, we must determine that we will make the necessary adjustments and stop giving o...urselves excuses

Determination is the Word for the Week!!!
The Word for the Week is, DETERMINATION!It is defined as the act of deciding definitely and firmly; fixed intention to achieve a desired end; a quality that makes you continue trying to do or achieve something that is difficult; simply not giving up.In order to see success in our weight loss journey, we have to be DETERMINED to do it. We must determine in our minds that we are going to do this, we must determine that we will make the necessary adjustments and stop giving o...urselves excuses and "outs". We must determine that we are going to eat like we need to, exercise when/how we need to and do what we need to in order to reach our goals. We have to develop a new mindset that goes beyond the comfy place we've grown accustomed to. Our flesh doesn't want to adjust, it doesn't like change, especially where it now has to develop some form of discipline. However, change is necessary if we are going to ever see success...and we must be DETERMINED to change! We cannot give up....we must keep a mental image of ourselves, even visual if necessary, that will keep us pushing toward that goal. You know, I realize that I am one week of cupcakes, pizza, burgers, sodas, chips and candy bars away from going back down the path of who I used to be....and I am DETERMINED that I will not go back. I do not want to be who I was because I was undisciplined and I didn't like that because the fruit of the (holy) spirit is temperance...Self-discipline. The fact that He is living in me should be evidenced by the Fruit of self-discipline. I REFUSE to be led by my flesh any longer! I am DETERMINED to make the changes I need to make...no matter what my flesh has to say about it so that I DO NOT go back, but so that I DO reach my goal of a size 10!How about you? Are you ready to reach your goals? If you are ready to, I challenge you to make up your mind to do what you need to do to get there...and be DETERMINED that THIS time is THE time that you reach your weight loss goals!!! You've got this!!!Love ya!Rae

Be Determined...Even When You Don't Feel Like It!
The statement in this picture is so true...at least in my life! I am on a mission in various areas of my life to reach certain goals, and if I fall off mentally, I know it will take me a minute to get back on...so I do what I can to try not to fall off. I get tired, but I can't allow myself to get so settled in that tired mindset that I don't do anything. I have to push myself to pick that piece of paper up off the floor, even if I don't vacuum the whole thing right now or put the food up, even if I don't wash the dishes right now. I have to keep making little strides even in those times when I don't have the physical strength or mental fortitude to do give it the whole push at that moment. So, what does that have to do with fitness? Keep making those small efforts, even on those days when you do feel it. Do 10 minutes of cardio if you can't do the whole 20 minutes. Do 5 push ups if you can't do the whole 10. Do 15 sit ups if you can't do the whole 25. We all have those days when we're just Not feeling it...but those are the days you need to push the most. Somewhere in forcing yourself to do something and actually doing it, something kicks in in your mind and gives you that extra little push you need to go a little farther.I'm not "ON" every day...none of us are, but keep pushing so that you'll get a little closer to your goal...you can do this! I believe in you!!!Love ya!Rae

In order to See Change You Must Change!
The definition of “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting a different result. What does this let us know? If we want to see a change, then we must exert a different action. Change is defined as follows: To make or become different; TRANSFORM. If we are going to become different, then we must do different things. However, before we can do either of those, we must think differently. We have to change the way we think and what we believe. Change starts internally and
