Be Determined...Even When You Don't Feel Like It!

The statement in this picture is so true...at least in my life!  I've noticed in my own life that if I'm not disciplined in the area of my exercise/nutrition, I am not disciplined in the other areas that need to be managed (work, goals, finances, housework, etc). It's like my discipline mindset is either on or off...there's not happy medium with me, and that's frustrating. My husband says I'm driven...and I agree with him...but I'm driven so that I don't fall into complacency.  I am on a mission in various areas of my life to reach certain goals, and if I fall off mentally, I know it will take me a minute to get back on...so I do what I can to try not to fall off.  I get tired, but I can't allow myself to get so settled in that tired mindset that I don't do anything. I have to push myself to pick that piece of paper up off the floor, even if I don't vacuum the whole thing right now or put the food up, even if I don't wash the dishes right now.  I have to keep making little strides even in those times when I don't have the physical strength or mental fortitude to do give it the whole push at that moment. So, what does that have to do with fitness?  Keep making those small efforts, even on those days when you do feel it.  Do 10 minutes of cardio if you can't do the whole 20 minutes.  Do 5 push ups if you can't do the whole 10.  Do 15 sit ups if you can't do the whole 25.  We all have those days when we're just Not feeling it...but those are the days you need to push the most. Somewhere in forcing yourself to do something and actually doing it, something kicks in in your mind and gives you that extra little push you need to go a little farther.I'm not "ON" every day...none of us are, but keep pushing so that you'll get a little closer to your goal...you can do this!  I believe in you!!!Love ya!Rae
