Today has been a rough day. My other half and I are not getting along and that always bugs me. Also, I have a friend who I am having issues with. My problems there have dripped into my work. My day has gone from mildly unpleasant to awful. On days like today, I have to remind myself that I’m not starving, I have a nice house, and that overall things are not so bad. I hate it when everything in my life all feels like too much. 

I love to write but on days like today when I feel like there isn't enough of me to go around and I’m lacking in so many ways…I find myself asking whether or not I should’ve published my novel. My book is my hobby. It is my space and my love. When I feel like it has become a chore, another thing on my plate, I question my choices. 

I wish there was a button we could push on days when we know we should not get out of bed. We could just push it and then everyone would know that we’re out for the day. I want that button.  

I’m editing today. Sigh.

I’m working on Literary Teasers today!

Another meme for my Novel. The Cover Reveal is coming up on October 19th. It’s awesome. 

Another book meme I created. One of the ladies who stops into the bookstore calls then literary teasers. I thought that was cool. 

This morning I am taking my wife and kids to the Renaissance Festival. On the way there my eldest daughter gives me a great idea for a short story I am writing. I want to create a short story for a secondary character from my first novel. I have wanted to do this for over a year, but I have written 1,600 words on it only.

I am struggling because I, so far, have not been amused by anything I’ve put down. Today I think that has changed. I’m excited to get back to my computer.

My 12 year old told me the main female character should be named Luna. Fun.

I spent two minutes listening to the elections…I’m annoyed and I think I’ll go back to writing.
