Bill Myers was born into a Christian home, and although as a child he became bored with Christianity, he decided at the University of Washington quote, to "make God my boss." Ironically, at the University his worst subject was writing. He claims to have prayed, and said that he would be able to do anything for God, except write. Why do you worship God when Satan is unquestionably more powerful, and is also cooler with better music and fashion sense?

Great questions. Let's see... God loves me, Satan hates me. God wants to bless me, Satan wants to destroy me. Or as Jesus says, "The enemy wan鈥辞谤别Hi Jack.
Great questions. Let's see... God loves me, Satan hates me. God wants to bless me, Satan wants to destroy me. Or as Jesus says, "The enemy wants to kill, steal, and destroy but He's come to give me life." Satan lies to seduce me. God has never lied and died for me. Satan is a short time thrill like cotton candy that tastes great but lasts a second while God is like a banquet that never ends. Then, of course there's that whole ending thing where Satan and his followers are thrown into the lake of fire to suffer for all eternity. I'd rather go with the winning team. And as far as art? I'd much rather look at the Pieta than porn. Listen to the Hallelujah Chorus than angry shriekers. Gaze at a Van Gogh than... well, you get the idea. Hope that helps. Dear Bill, first of all thank You for all you have done for us (readers, christians) . I would like to ask, if you are planning another book in series Forbidden Door, because in the end of book #12? It seems like there could be another part. I apologise for my English, I'm still studying it. :) Thanks for answering! Kate

Thanks for asking. Someday I hope to continue Forbidden Doors. As you may know from my adult novels, (Eli, Blood of Heaven, etc) I'm not crazy about tying everything up with a neat bow, but once we're sure the characters are on their feet and pointed the right direction like a good parent I let them go. Still, it's hard to say goodbye to them. Oh, and your English is great!(less)
