Beta readers: five beta readers dissected the story when it was still in its "baby" form and came back to me with a pile of questions and plot holes. Putting the science in the fiction: a special thanks to Peter Vogel, who guided me through some head-scratching sections related to satellites, ground stations, the internet, long-lasting storage devices and batteries. Meteorology / Ham Radio / Astronomy / Cybersecurity / ADS-B / Prime Minister's / Premier's SciTech awards / CERN/HST". Also, he happens to live in my neighborhood, where he regularly connects to satellites and the Space Station from his own back yard! How cool is that?
The Facebook author community: I LOVE the author community on Facebook. Whenever I have publishing issues or questions about weird subjects, I know where to go to for help. Forget Google and Wikipedia - those won't tell me how to describe a believable sword-fight! That's also where I found Shlayne Harms, who gave me useful feedback on what it's like to live with a photographic memory. Authors have some dodgy Google-search histories, let me tell you! I'll share some of those jaw-dropping links on my Facebook page soon.
