Well, it was a labour of love that took much longer than predicted, but the third Scharlette Book is finally out.

To those of you who sent me ‘gentle reminders� to HURRY UP AND FINISH IT ALREADY, thanks for your enthusiasm and sorry for the wait. I thought of you all every day, standing behind me with whips made from sentences, which gave a whole new meaning to dangling participles.

At any rate, Scharlette Tries to Not Become President is now available as an ebook, with the paperback close behind.

Will Scharlette succeed in rescuing her little sister from an untimely demise? Can she outrun democracy itself? Most importantly, who’s been doing green poo on the stairs?

I released a new book a few weeks ago, but have so far neglected to announce it here on this VERY BOOK CENTRIC WEBSITE, because, well, you know, life. But here we go, today is the day, exciting times!

The book is called ‘Scharlette Doesn’t Matter and Goes Time Travelling� and I like to describe it as ‘a contemporary comic sci fi adventure with heart (and no plot holes)�.

Can you imagine how hard it is to write a time travel book without plot holes? It’s incredible, to be honest, that I succeeded. Or did I?

You be the judge! I spent so long on my back staring at the ceiling, working my way through impossible tangles, that I began to wonder if perhaps I’d gone mad � was this any way to spend my life? To spend TIME ITSELF, the most precious resource any of us possess, lying on the floor, wondering what happens if you travel to the past and poke yourself in the eye as a baby? Who knew if I would ever complete the book? And if I did, would anyone ever read it?

Well, I DID and WE’LL SEE.

The point is, I laboured to make this absolute nonsense believable and easy to follow so that you, dear reader, don’t have to think about it. This isn’t time travel with boring paradoxes like ‘I’m my own dad�, or whatever. The feedback thus far (glowing, by the way) suggests the time travel tech stuff is easy to follow.

Greetings and Salutations

I am gearing up to self publish a trio of short (10k words each) comedy novellas or, as I like to call them 'episodes'. The story is basically an adaptation of a sitcom I have always wanted to write, but which would have a pretty prohibitive budget outside of the imagination.

The series is called 'Sam, Jake and Dylan Want Money', and it is about three degenerate losers who live in the worst apartment building in the universe.

I'm looking for a few people to give feedback/impressions/whatever on 'Episode One: Black Market Prawns' in which the three boys acquire one tonne of illegal prawns they have to shift quickly in the blazing Australian Summer without proper refrigeration.

So! I know I'm probably woefully behind the times on this, but I only just realised I've had this author profile sitting here on Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ for years, waiting for me to click the 'this is me' button. And since I am indeed me, I have now claimed it for myself.

I'm not even sure if the previous version was created by magic, or if someone actually took the time to create it. If it was a real person, thank you to them. If it was magic then oooooh, fancy.

Anyway! I plan to become more active on Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ now. It seems like a cool site and I can't believe it has taken me this long. Still, I'm here now, so everyone can just settle down. JUST SETTLE DOWN, EVERYONE! Goodness.

I look forward to leaving my exalted opinion about the place, judging the life's work of others harshly, and hopefully being asked a question or two.
