Eternity Springs.
Yes, I'm going to re-read my own books and participate in a special book club being hosted on Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ.
My new publishing team at St. Martin's Press suggested we hold an Eternity Springs re-read as a fun lead-in to HEARTSONG COTTAGE, which arrives November 3rd. I decided to join in because I'm writing Chase and Lori's story this summer. They appear in a number of books in the series, so I figured I'd better review what happened in their lives in order to avoid any big mistakes!
I think the book club will be a lot of fun and I hope you'll join us. We will begin with ANGEL'S REST and discuss a new book every two weeks, finishing up just in time for the release of the tenth book of the series, HEARTSONG COTTAGE. We'll have author Q&A's, book-by-book discussions, trivia, GIVEAWAYS galore...and a few exclusive sneak peeks into HEARTSONG COTTAGE.
New readers are welcome, so please share this news and invite your friends along with us to Colorado--the more the merrier!! I hope to see you there!

New Website Launch

Here's a head's up to all you Kindle readers. Amazon now has both the ebook and the paperback editions of MIRACLE ROAD on sale.
This is the first time one of my Eternity Springs novels has been discounted this way, so I'm trying to spread the word. Please pass this along to anyone you know who might be interested!

MIRACLE ROAD is on sale at Amazon!
Since Amazon purchased Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ, I guess it's okay to post this here. :)
I noticed this morning that the paperback version of MIRACLE ROAD is now listed for pre-order at only $4.79 at Amazon. That's a 40% discount. Don't know why and no, the Kindle version is not discounted. I have no notice about or control over this.
But, if you intend to read the next Eternity Springs story, here's your chance to save a little. It's an especially good deal for Amazon Prime members, because you get free shipping. (I LOVE Amazon prime. I figure I've saved the membership fee in gas money alone.)

My office
One of the reasons I didn't attend the Romance Writers of America conference (RWA#13) this year is because I'm behind on my book and I need to work.
I read Twitter and Facebook about the fun I'm missing, but then I look up from my computer and realize I have a pretty darn good office and I can't complain. :)
I wanted to post a picture of it here. Can anyone walk me through the process?

Calling out Mariah Stewart
So, I have know Mariah Stewart for a long time, since we both wrote for Pocket Books many moons ago. Up until today, I considered her a friend and a lovely woman.
Now, I know she's evil.
We were chatting on the phone this morning about our books (we both write small town contemporary romance for Ballantine) and then we talked about our families. She has a new grandson and I'm expecting my first grandchild--also a boy--next month. It was a lovely conversation.
Then, shortly after we hung up, the evil woman sent me the email. I open it to find a link to her favorite children's store. She urges me to look at the sale pages. Great quality! Great sale prices, she says.
It was bad. Very, very bad.
I think I'm going to LOVE being Nana. My pocketbook, not so much. And with friends like Mariah Stewart...sigh. ;)
But you should see this little romper with the tricycle on it...

MIRACLE ROAD
My page proofs for MIRACLE ROAD have arrived. I need to read the book one more time checking for typos and errors. This is my last chance to make any changes--that always makes me nervous. I won't read a book once it's been published because I CAN'T make changes then and it kills me!
MIRACLE ROAD comes out November 5. (If I could figure out how to post a picture of the page proofs, I'd do it, but looking at the html code makes me shudder. :)
