Raven in the Grave is the third book in the Pretty in Black series. For those of you who have read or are reading the first two books in the series, and for those of you who want to read the books, Raven in the Grave releases December 31, 2012 on Marcus Marble's birthday.

Raven in the Grave was a thrill for me to write, more so than the first two books even, and I'm really excited about its release and putting it in your hands, because this is why I write, after all, to make readers happy.

The reason Raven in the Grave releases on December 31 of this year, and why I decided to do an ARC tour this time, is because Evermore, the last book in the series, [although a few fans have already asked me when it will release] will not release for at least a year from now.

I know...but it's the LAST book in this series, and wow time has gone by so fast, it seems, from when I started this book series. I didn't think it would even get much attention, but the readership it has gotten so far—I am very grateful and amazed by everything. I really wrote the book for myself. It started as a personal project, but grew bigger in my head so I decided to just put it out there.

Evermore is going to take more time to write...lots more time. I can't say for sure when it will release, but don't expect it to release before November 2013.

Another reason that I am holding Evermore, is because there are some really awesome things in the works for the Pretty in Black series, I can't say what, because while these things could very much happen, they haven't happened just yet...and while I await to see the progression on this, the time span between Raven in the Grave and Evermore will give the series the time it deserves to expand its readership.

I just want to take a minute to say Thank You to everyone who has read/reviewed Pretty in Black. Every review, good & bad, is appreciated. Pretty in Black #1 is not perfect, but it was very special to me. Black Satin, Pretty in Black #2 gets better...but I'm the most proud of Raven in the Grave, the third book in this series. I feel like I've grown as a writer, and all of your comments, reviews, support is truly appreciated.

Raven in the Grave ends on a rather satisfying note, so there is no cliffhanger, which is good, because how evil of me to make you wait an entire year on a cliffhanger, right?

[And, also: Raven in the Grave originally was not supposed to release until sometime in 2013, but I bumped the date upward, so that all of you who were invested in Marcus's & Ellie's relationship and story could find out what happened after the end of Black Satin, because I knew a lot of you were surprised by many of the events in #2, and I wanted to satisfy your thirst for the answers. So, you're really getting book #3 faster than I'd originally intended ;). I figured that December 31 is really only one day away from 2013, so this really wouldn't hurt, right? Though...when I said 2013, I really meant like July 2013...but I just couldn't be that cruel. Evermore was going to release in early 2014...& that date may or may not stay the same, depending...]

However...I am working on many other book projects, some of which we could see happen as early as February 2013. :)

One of these, being Frankie's Monster which I am absolutely thrilled about. It's about a xombie and the girl he loves...and that's all I can say about that at this time, but...perhaps there will an official blurb, excerpt, or a teaser or two soon. Who Knows? But this book is definitely coming your way. There's no way I will be able to NOT write this story.
