A Great Year To Write My Thriller

2021 brought me better book sales, a Canada Book Award win, and was a great year to write my latest thriller (69,000 words now). My writers group wants to rename it from Tayrona (national park in Colombia) to The Nike Birds. The latter is an important guide in the story. I’m trying to come up with a decent book blurb

FINAL RESPONSE wins Canada Book Award Winner

Canada Book awards has chosen FINAL RESPONSE as a 2021 winner. It’s a very good read and the 3rd in my firefighter crime series. The novel is getting the recognition it deserves. I’ll put this one up against any other crime novel because it is unique in that it’s not a police, lawyer, or PI story. It’s speculative fiction that

New Crime Story Book #12 Tayrona

Bestseller and psychic abilities

I haven’t approached a literary agent in some time. I am with a small publisher who has three of my firefighter crime novels. I want to get into the big leagues with a new project. My first rejection came hard and fast. Nothing has changed. Agents still believe in their psychic abilities. They know your work won’t be a bestseller.

New Crime Fiction Services Rendered

Services Rendered is completed! This is new crime fiction is gonna rock you. By complete, I mean it is undergoing a last edit/final touches via Grammarly and Hemingway. It’s pretty good shape right now but self-editing the last bit can be tricky. You see I’ve edited this story at least 8 times already and my mind tends to wander onto
