Randy White is a writer and educator who lives with his wife and daughter in Rocklin, California.
Besides being the author of Motherlode/La Veta Madre (Blue Oak/ Capra Press), he has been awarded the Bazzanella Literary Award for both poetry and short fiction. His work has appeared in the Range of Light Anthology, From These Hills: Stories and Poems of The American West, Sulfur, Sierra Journal, Poetry Now and other magazines. He was also a finalist in both New York’s Inkwell Poetry Competition and the Sacramento Poetry Center Contest. A short story “In the Mouth of Heaven� was nominated to appear in the anthology: Best New Voices in American Fiction.

Currently he is completing a middle grade biography of the Native Californian Ishi that will be published in 2016.
