Inte utan min syster, (Not without my sister) based on a true dramatic story from Åsa´s own family, is the first book in a new 3-book series of historic novels and will be released in aug 2022 in Sweden.
The first novel is set i Fjällbacka and tells the story about Anna and Cornelia, two sisters and nurses 1903, who have hopes and big dreams for the future.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Ã…sa Hellberg I always start with a character (or a few) and this time I wanted to write about someone with a temper, a dramatic woman. I thought that would suit an…m´Ç°ù±ðI always start with a character (or a few) and this time I wanted to write about someone with a temper, a dramatic woman. I thought that would suit an Opera singer and that´s how I came up with Gloria. A spanish/swedish woman who sings the title role in Carmen on the Royal Opera in Stockholm.
The leading man in the drama is Dominic, and he had to be as powerful as her to be her equal.
My ideas come when i write. My head is completely empty without the keyboard.(less)
