“And what is the difference between a paranormal and a supernatural?â€ He gave me an odd look. “Humor me. Couch, sofa, or divan. The words people use are confusing sometimes. I’m not from around here.â€ Sam chuckled. “Paranormals are humans with talents or magic—mages and witches. Supernaturals are non-human. Vampires, shifters, the Fae. Make sense?”

“Everywhere I go I'm asked if I think the university stifles writers. My opinion is that they don't stifle enough of them. There's many a best-seller that could have been prevented by a good teacher.”

I haven't figured out if escaping into a book is completely healthy, but it keeps me sane(r). :)

some people get an acquired taste for paranormal fantasy, while others just dont take the time to understand it. i was thrust into it. my freshman year of high school, twilight came out in the theaters and i saw it. i thought it was so awesome that i went and read the book (took me only a day and a half)... after i finished it, i had to to read the rest. when i read the saga, i thought to myself,"you know, i really am intrigued by vampires and werewolves and ghosts and aliens. i have to read more about them." this led to my love of paranormal fantasy... suddenly, it wasn't just for fun anymore. i read because i NEEDED to read. if i didn't read a little each day, i went completely nuts! i had to come to the realization that... i was addicted. and the rest is history.
