After a successful career in childhood and adult education, Sophia Bar-Lev turned her attention towards fulfilling her long held dream of authoring women's novels and inspirational books.

A lifelong love of Italy and all things Italian inspired the setting for her recently published novel, PASTA, POPPY FIELDS AND PEARLS.

Sophia is married and the mother of four children and seven grandchildren. She loves to travel, to meet people from different cultures and backgrounds and, of course, is an avid reader.

She also loves to cook and bake, and frequently tries her hand at creating original recipes which have become legendary with her family.
