Ever since I was young, I've enjoyed reading stories which spurred my imagination into overdrive. After helping my brother edit his own books, I decided it was time to give something back to the community which has inspired me.

Until recently I spent far too many nights rolling dice with friends and creating what I hope were myriad memorable campaigns. Now a father of four I have less time for such engagements, but that doesn't mean I can't share the fruits of my imagination with an eager crowd.

Here's hoping I can find a crowd of people who enjoy my stories as much as I do!

Your office can be anywhere if you use a laptop computer, and that's another huge bonus. I love to sail (as in, across oceans without stopping until I get to my destination) so writing is a natural thing I can do while I'm engaged in that hobby/lifestyle.

I'd say a close second is the opportunity to share the stories and ideas in your head with the world and see what they think about them. It's always exciting when people respond to an idea that's been rolling around between my ears for years before I finally put it into some consumable form or other, like a book/ebook.(less)

Nature vs. Nurture, and its relationship to Internet Censorship

There are three camps in the ‘Nature vs. Nurture debate, summarized something like the following:

Nature determines most, if not all, of an organism’s behavior and potential since the building blocks dictate that organism’s behavior. (sometimes referred to as ‘Biological Determinismâ€) Nurture determines most, if not all, of an organism’s behavior and potential since the environmental experiences Read more of this blog post »

“Opportunistic relationships can hardly be kept constant. The acquaintance of honorable people, even at a distance, does not add flowers in times of warmth and does not change its leaves in times of cold: it continues unfading through the four seasons, becomes increasingly stable as it passes through ease and danger.”
