I鈥檓 not sure how many children in a six-person household create imaginary friends, but I did. And from an invisible friend to entire worlds in my own head, my imagination needed a place to live so I started to write.

Professionally, I have written countless news stories as a television reporter and anchor. I have written dozens of articles, speeches, strategic plans and advertisements as a public relations executive.

And all along the way, I continued to write about the lives and worlds of the people I could see and hear in my head. Short stories and poems paved the way to Pushed Times, Chewing Pepper, the first of a series of murder mysteries.
