Hi Jessica!
Thank you for your question. I first got the itch to write after my daughter was born in 2012. I began writing my first novel and completely immersed myself in the process. I take inspiration from real life friends and choose their quirkiest traits to turn them into characters.
As far as how I come up with stories, I usually have to get to know the characters really well before I put them into situations. Once I've found a story, I can start to figure out how they would react putting them into the plot. But I usually write my chapters from start to finish - in order. I start with Chapter One and continue from there.
