Finally! Something new out soon! Yay!

A Difficult Birth by Gerald Hansen

I hope you're all safe and healthy and not too bored. And I hope you're in the mood for some reading to while away the time because...Surprise!! I've got a new novelette coming out soon! Yaay!! Sorry for those of you who have been waiting patiently for The Secret of Ursula's Stew...but this isn't it. (it's taking that stew much longer to cook than I anticipated!!) Please welcome A Difficult Birth into your homes instead!! It's the prequel to the (also upcoming and taking-me-far-too-long-to-write) Delinquent Housekeeping and the God Particle. We travel back to the mid-90s and the beginning of the Peace Process in Northern Ireland. Maybe more exciting than that, though, newly-married Fionnuala Flood is about to give birth to the first of her seven wanes...Moira!! And, as the title says, it's far from easy! I hope you enjoy it! It should be out this time next week!!!

Ha ha, your husband's blonde rubbing off on you! Tonya, thanks so much for your comment! I always post on my blog here, but never hear from anybody, so it's very nice to know that somebody has read what I've posted. But...you haven't figured out the order? Do you want me to help you with that...??? I'll be happy to!! :)

Gerald Okay, here goes (though some people think it's okay to read them out of order; there are no cliffhangers of spoilers, but most do like to read them like this):

(-1 The Secret of Ursula's Stew--not out yet)
(0. A Difficult Birth--out soon)

1. An Embarrassment of Riches
2. Hand In The Till
3. Fleeing The Jurisdiction
4. Best Served Frozen
5. Static Cling
6. Table For Nine At Kebabalicious (short story)
7. The Way To A Man's Heart (novelette)
8. A Very Fionnuala Christmas (novella)

9. Delinquent Housekeeping and the God Particle (not out yet, but it's next in the series)

Emergency Exit is about Ursula's daughter in NYC, so it really isn't part of the Derry Women series. But I guess it 'happens' between Best Served Frozen and Static Cling.

A Difficult Birth (which will be out soon) is a Prequel, so it 'happens' before everything,

Delinquent Housekeeping 'happens' after Static Cling (but, again, it's not out soon).

Finally, The Secret of Ursula's Stew (this will come out either before or after Delinquent Housekeeping I'm not sure yet, but it happens before everything else, when everyone is very young, so I've put it as -1, ha ha!)

Hmm, now I understand why you couldn't figure out the order! Maybe it's a bit complicated, but I just wrote what I wrote, and went backwards and forwards in time!

I hope this list helps! :)

Many thanks again for your interest!!!

Tonya Mathis Wow. No wonder I was confused. I try to read series in order, but I guess with so many "flashbacks" going on so to speak. That may be hard to do.
Except for the ones that aren't out yet, I think I have them all. But I'll have to check my Kindle again, I'm not sure about #6.

Tonya Mathis Never mind. I do have it. As a matter of fact, I have over bought all of your books. Not only do I have all of the singles, except #6, but I've bought all 3 sets. I guess I really need/want to read this series. :)

Gerald Oh, that's so great to hear! And, ha ha, yes, if you have everything (and I thank you for that!) maybe now is a good time to read them!! :) Thanks again, Tonya!!! I really love hearing from readers!! :)
