Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ

Finally, finally I have writing news.

description
The Wedding Etc.

Rafe and Nicole’s happily-ever-after is finished.

And Nyssa is getting THE WEDDING, ETC. ready for publication on December 12.

My original plan was to write a novella…just a lovely, lush, sweet and sexy wedding story. But in the time-honored fashion of weddings, the guest list grew and grew and grew. That meant the characters in my story mushroomed from initially, the bride, groom and immediate families, to—figuratively speaking--a cast of thousands. So, in consideration of the really, huge wedding, I included a guest list in the front of the book for everyone’s edification.

In addition to my novella plan that went awry, the past few years have seen a world more chaotic than usual, including the terrible pandemic we all have been living through. Not only has escape to the fantasy land of writing romance been personally satisfying for me in these difficult times, I wanted to offer that same escapism in this story of two lovers being good to each other. Caring for each other. Being kind and affectionate. And above all, loving.

There are detours, of course. Things that go wrong, even disastrously wrong.

Life isn’t always fair.

But Rafe and Nicole are eminently capable of overcoming challenges big and small.

Not only are they well-grounded and intelligent, their love is HUGE, also crazy and charming, sweet and intense, and don’t forget that once-in-a-lifetime feeling that warms clear down to your toes.

So, their happily-ever-after is guaranteed.

Although, they could have told you that the first day they met.

Susan Johnson It turned out to be a very long story. I’m pleased to have finally finished it. You’ll see cameo roles from earlier characters when they come to the wedding. 😊
