Looking for Phenomenal Storytellers

Because I am a very busy lady, and since I purchase books I select to read, I hope this posting will attract those writers and readers who know the quality of stories I'm looking to read... and SEND THOSE BOOK TITLES MY WAY!!!

I am looking to read:

- An Independently published author (doesn't have to be a debut)
- Who has written an over the top story (a story even you enjoy reading over and over after the book is in print)

What I consider phenomenal???

- Language must be engaging, and the writing style fresh and unique
- Story must take off from page one; the reader always asking the question... "Wonder how this is going to be resolved??"
- Strong, Intelligent characters move me too.
- LOVE; there’s got to be love going on... though realistic love! (I'ma grown lady and have seen all shades of this stuff called love. I will read right through young immature love... though too, regardless of age, if the writer is 'smart', chances are I'll pick right up on it, and love the story!)
- And this ONE! - HUMOR! Oh, how I do, do lots of witty satire and humor.

So tell me a story... or rather, send me ‘that winning synopsis or title of this great book. I not only will read and review it, but will purchase a copy and share it all over the world!!!

I am an independent U.S. Publisher. My best work to-date is the Rhapsody Series, Double Dare, Pleasure, Black Table, and Lock Box!

RYCJ. (you can call me Rhonda)

As it's said in OUR WORLD... Happy Readings...

Benjamin Dancer Thanks for being out there Rhonda. I hope you find your story.

RYCJ Hey Benjamin,

Thanks, & thanks for leaving the comment. I hope I find that story too, at least while my mood is where it is.

That said, I peeked in on Patriarch Run... and think it might take me out of the funk. Tell me this, & in one word without giving anything away, does it have a happy ending?

I know that sounds like a BIG spoiler, but if only I hadn't read an endorsement that warned about trying to guess the twists and turns.

Kirsten Feldman Hi Rhonda,
I really appreciate that you took the time to write the great, detailed review of my debut, No Alligators in Sight. (If you were willing to post it on Amazon, too, that would be awesome and helpful. If not, I completely understand.) My new book On the Way to Everywhere comes out Sept. 8. Maybe it will speak to you as well.
Have a wonderful day, Kirsten

Iffix Santaph Hi Rhonda,

I saw your post in my group Support for Indie Authors. I have been writing a sci-fi adventure series, which may not be your ideal, but the story has 1) Engaging language; though it's middle-grade, I have made it my aim not to write down. 2) An exciting story from page 1. 3) A slowly growing teenage love-story. 4) A fair bit of humor. (In other words, it might be what you're looking for.)

If you would like to consider it, the title is Impulse and it is the first part in a 6-part series.

It is short, just a little over 34,000 words. I decided to publish Novellas since I wanted to give my audience a chance to experience my writing style before delving into a lengthy tome. This also helped to keep the cost low.

In addition, to be completely honest, I wanted you to know that one of its drawbacks is that the alien characters are generally not described in detail early on, since I wanted the readers to connect with them on a deeper level.
But pictures of the characters can be found on my website: iffixysantaph.com

The second part of the series is entitled Deception and has a July 1st publishing date. (I'm waiting on an editor doing last proofing.)

Thanks for your kind attention.

Iffix Y Santaph
