Was anyone upset when Melanie burned the diary? I don't understand why she didn't at least share it with her husband, leaving him in the dark about why she was suicidal. I believed he deserved some closure. And Chris as well.
Alicia I agree! When it was mentioned that she burned the diary and felt sick, I thought she would tell someone. But after finding out Melanie knew, it was f…m´Ç°ù±ðI agree! People didnt accept people getting therapy back then because they thought it would be on your permanent record and would ruin your chances in life--this was what I was told when I sought therapy for similar reasons, more important to look good for a mythical boss than get help for us. And she couldn't tell Chris because she thought he would judge her or be disappointed. (less)
