The skills in this book take practice but they can be used in everyday life.

Negotiations are not just for business, but also for family and personal relationships to retail purchasing. I believe that is why people like it. No matter what your position or level in life there will at some point be a requirement for you to negotiate. It has something for everyone hence everybody is more than likely to like it.

The author has the background and knowledge to back up his advice. His training and on the job experience comes from the best place to pick up the skills and techniques he outlines in the book...the FBI.

In fact, I just used one of the suggestions in resolving a medical insurance dispute I was facing with a favorable outcome. (less)
