I am SO happy to see that Forster evokes the same feelings for so many of you lovely readers as he does for me. There's really a kind of magic in that. Does anyone have information they have learned, and would like to share regarding Forster as a man, as a friend? What he was like to know as a person?

what age group would you recommend this book for, i know sometimes it is quite hard to put things into ages but like is there any sex/nudity or like if there is how graphic is it?

I would say that this novel is appropriate for teenagers and above, as it's a brilliant portrait of love and the difficult journey to sexual identity, and this is what is significant about the novel, not the obscure and rare references to sex. The book was written around 1914. I assume the story is set in those times, but was there anything specific in the book to pin down a calendar year?
