(insert cheerful advertisement music here) You can join as many different book clubs as you like here, and you don't have to be an active member to participate in discussions. Anyone can leave, anyone can join, any book club, at any time. The rules are very relaxed (actually I don't think there are any) and you can suggest new things to add to the club at any time by contacting me. Each month a new book that's appropriate for your book club is picked. It is then discussed by the readers in the forums. Then the following month, another book is picked, and so on. Please note this is not a roleplay group!! It's for discussing, reviewing, recommending books, and socializing with others ONLY.

We, at the Book Club, IIT Kanpur, have just brought down that paradise loaded with a diverse collection of books and not to mention, comfy bean-bags for the feel of it. Whether you are new to the world of books or a dedicated bookworm, we got your back covered. Our collections include Fiction, Non-Fiction, Science Fiction, Fantasy, Classics, Poetry, Drama, Collections, Comics, Popular Science, Self Help, Romance, Biographies, Autobiographies, Bengali and Hindi. The SAC Book Club comes under the Cultural Council of the Students�� Gymkhana. It is maintained and operated by a team of 3 coordinators and 14 secretaries who work on a completely voluntary basis. During the semester, the club opens 7 days a week, for 1 hour on weekdays (9-10 pm) and 2 hours on the weekends (8-10 pm). We also conduct events, ranging from bookish-themed competitions and fun get-togethers to our flagship event, The Halloween Party! Do drop by and see us sometime. We can have our little, adventurous trips to new worlds!

[close] This group is for those that feel like they are emotionally attached to their books.Those of us who love buying, and reading books. We are constantly buying more books, even though the one's we have hadnt even been read. It is not just the content of the book that we are attached too, its just physically having the book.
