Has anyone with diabetes knowledge read this? I listened to the audio version, so couldn't reread passages, but I think the author made serious errors regarding the death of the "accompanist". In the story he died from diabetic shock because he had "run out of medicine" (insulin--not named, but implied). Insulin lowers, not raises. blood sugar. If injected, it would simply have killed him faster. Thoughts?
