what age group would you recommend this book for, i know sometimes it is quite hard to put things into ages but like is there any sex/nudity or like if there is how graphic is it?

I would say that this novel is appropriate for teenagers and above, as it's a brilliant portrait of love and the difficult journey to sexual identity, and this is what is significant about the novel, not the obscure and rare references to sex.
