Nwad The way Sinclair talks about the black factory workers who came to Packingtown to work during the strike. (Ch26)

Also, the boy who stayed late to finish his job and was eaten by rats.
Bethany It's been years and years since I read this book and I still remember the horribly evil rent situation that was forced upon so many, basically making them slaves to their landlords. I also remember the finger of a worker being cut off and sealed into the can of meat. Yuck.
Connie Morrison The inhumane treatment of animals.
Nuha Omar The treatment of the people
Tisha La Bonnaise Cashing the $100 bill.
Sheila The horrendous exploitation of workers.
