asked:
Should religion be taught in schools? I think it should be, it would be nice to teach others the truth about Christ!

Yes, all major religions (mythology) should be taught in school.
But to teach a mythology, whatever it is, as truth to children is a form of child abuse.
Religion should not be allowed to corrupt education by teaching impressionable children that it is true, whatever the version.

I don't think it should be required. As a Christian myself, I see a lot of people who are of other religions, or who are atheists, who have turned away from Christianity because we're just "too pushy." Taking your religion and shoving it down others' throats just isn't the way to go about saving people. While I see your point, I think that it should be taught in Catholic schools and Christian schools strictly. Otherwise, it might just make people uncomfortable.

In a Christan school, yes. But in public schools, no. Many parents aren't religious or have different beliefs. If the child wants to read a bible, they can (probably) get one from a library.

I agree. it should be taught in schools. kids and teens alike should have the opportunity to hear about Christ and have a chance to receive him as their personal Savior.
