Mommooshka
This is an adult novel. There are many wonderful stories to read to young children classified as Juvenille Fiction for their comprehension and maturity levels appropriate to younger kids.
Fracesca Dignan
How young are you th I king ? I would say probably not as it features sorority traffic scenes and covers some complex themes , it is probably ok for pre-Texans though ( 11/12+ )
Wise Cat
Agree with Mommooshka. It had some disturbing and triggering scenes in it that made it hard to go to sleep, as I read from it at bedtime. And I'm an adult! Most of the book is alright to read to kids, but it's not for kids per se, in my opinion.
Fenris
No, as wonderful as this novel is, I do not think it would be appropriate for a child as there are some (though brief) disturbing descriptions of abuse and death.
