Without giving any spoilers, the ending makes me thing this one is just going to be the one book. You never know with Neal Shusterman, though - I think Unwind was just meant to be one book and then it became a series.

I'm sure it could be, but I hope not. This is a fantastic stand-alone that will never leave me as is. I think expanding would take away from the original stories impact.
