what impacted me the most was the representation of Christian beliefs throughout this book. It's not a heavily religious book whatsoever, but C.S. Lewis did intend to make Aslan a representation of Christ.

Definitely the way Lewis made the story relate so much to the story of Jesus' death and resurrection. Honestly, I got chills while reading the book because of how similar it was to the Bible. And some people don't even see this as a Christian fiction, but it most definitely is. Anyway, there's my two cents. :)
